We invite you to be part of an incredible mission trip to St. Francis Inn in Philadelphia, PA, from October 5-9, 2026. This mission opportunity provides you with a chance to serve some of the most vulnerable in society while experiencing the joy and impact of giving back.

About St. Francis Inn:

St. Francis Inn is a Catholic social outreach center located in the heart of Philadelphia’s Kensington neighborhood, one of the city’s most impoverished areas. For over 40 years, the Inn has been serving people experiencing homelessness, hunger, and addiction with dignity, compassion, and respect.

Missionary Work at St. Francis Inn:

During the trip, missionaries will have the opportunity to serve in various hands-on roles, including:

Serving Meals: Volunteers help prepare and serve meals to over 300 guests each day, offering hot, nutritious food in a welcoming environment.
Cleaning and Organizing: Assisting with the upkeep of the inn, organizing donations, and ensuring the space is welcoming to all who enter.
Clothing and Resource Distribution: Helping sort and distribute clothing, hygiene supplies, and other essential items to the guests.
Visiting and Praying with the Guests: Offering companionship, listening, and prayer to those who need it most. It’s a chance to build relationships and offer comfort through spiritual support.
Community Outreach and Advocacy: Learn about the issues facing the Kensington community and engage in outreach efforts designed to promote awareness, social justice, and service to those in need.
