A missionary from our recent Frederick County mission trip shared that the experience "taught me that my incompetence for a task is not an obstacle to God. He can work through me to bring about His Kingdom when I simply surrender myself to Him in my incompetence. He doesn’t have to 'fix' me or equip me for the task. The surrender is what allows Him to do HIS work."
We often face tasks that seem beyond our abilities, moments that make us question our adequacy. Yet, this reflection reminds us that our perceived shortcomings do not hinder God's plans. Instead, our willingness to surrender and trust in Him transforms our weaknesses into powerful instruments for His glory.
Let's embrace our vulnerabilities and offer them up to God. It is in this surrender that He can truly work through us, revealing His love and grace to those we serve.
