One man returned to his Catholic faith after 40 years and took it home to his wife and is seeking a priest for confession and spiritual direction. Another young lady is returning to see if she has a calling to join an order. Many other lesser miracles.
What an amazing trip!
In reflecting over the past year during which I participated in several CBC Mission Trips, I remember El Salvador. My first highlight was being welcomed by the wonderful ladies of the Parish. I could feel the unconditional love of God being given to us with each warm embrace from the ladies. San Jacinto was a lovely place to stay; simple and comfortable. The lovely nuns in the convent were happy to see us & also graciously welcomed us. My heart was filled with a new spirituality.
