Young Adult El Salvador Mission Trip | February 21 - 28, 2026

Commissioned by Christ and The Office of Youth, Campus, and Young Adult Ministries are thrilled to invite you to embark on a life-changing mission trip to San Salvador, El Salvador. Led by chaplain Fr. Stephen Vaccaro, this journey promises to be a profound experience of faith, service, and community as we come together to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need.

Each day, we will celebrate Mass and participate in reflections that draw us closer to God and to each other. A highlight of our trip will be visiting the residence of St. Oscar Romero. We will also have the honor of celebrating Mass at the very site where he was martyred, a moment that promises to be deeply moving and inspirational.

In addition to our spiritual journey, we will engage in light construction projects, distribute food to the hungry, and visit local clinics to offer support and care. These acts of service are not only opportunities to help those in need but also to witness the face of Christ in our brothers and sisters.

Cost will be $1675/person which includes airfare (from Washington Dulles International airport), room, meals, land transportation, travel insurance, CBC t-shirt, and retreat resources. 

Missionaries will gather as a team three times in person before departing on mission; to include two half day retreats and one service project. (October 25, December 13 and January 31.) These meetings are required. Registration open to in diocese young adults until August 31st. 

$275 registration fee required to secure your space on the mission trip. This website uses the term "Application Fee" for this. This amount is applied toward the total cost of your trip.
