Join Commissioned By Christ (CBC) as we partner with Parroquia Santísimo Sacramento in Piura, Peru. Together, we will accompany families facing poverty through practical service, authentic relationships, and the love of Christ.

This mission is more than a week of volunteering—it is an opportunity to encounter Christ in those we serve while allowing Him to transform our own hearts.

Live the Gospel Through the Works of Mercy

Working alongside our parish partners, missionaries will help bring hope and tangible support to families throughout the community. Opportunities may include:

• Delivering food to families experiencing hardship
• Distributing clothing and essential household items
• Visiting local schools and orphanages
• Spending time with children, families, and the elderly
• Sharing Christ's love through prayer, presence, encouragement, and service

No specialized experience is required—only a willing heart and a desire to serve.

Rooted in Prayer

At Commissioned By Christ, mission begins and ends with Christ.

Each day is centered on prayer and the sacraments, allowing missionaries to deepen their relationship with the Lord while serving His people.

Our daily rhythm includes:

• Morning Prayer
• Daily Mass
• Personal and communal prayer
• Spiritual reflections
• Fellowship with fellow missionaries
• Time for rest and community

A Typical Day

Morning

• Breakfast and Morning Prayer
• Mission work in the community

Midday

• Lunch and fellowship at Santísimo Sacramento Parish

Afternoon

• Home visits
• Service projects
• Community outreach

Evening

• Mass
• Dinner together
• Team reflection and prayer

Mission Preparation

Mission begins long before boarding the airplane.

To prepare spiritually and build community, each missionary participates in:

• Two half-day formation gatherings
• One local service project

Trip Details

Location: Piura, Peru

Cost: $2,800 per person

The trip cost includes:

• Roundtrip airfare from Dulles Airport
• Lodging
• Meals
• In-country transportation
• Mission materials
• CBC Mission T-shirt
• Retreat and formation materials

Registration Fee: $325 (non-refundable)
