Philippines Mission Trip | April 6-14, 2026

What to Expect:
Join Commissioned By Christ for its inaugural mission trip to the Philippines! Led by CBC Chair of the Board, Fr. Jamie Workman, who will serve as chaplain, and guided by Michelle Haworth (CBC Executive Director) and Marierose Hoang (CBC Board Member), this mission promises to be both spiritually enriching and deeply impactful.

Our journey begins as we depart from Washington Dulles International Airport and travel together to the Philippines. Once on the ground in Manila, missionaries will partner directly with the Scalabrinian Sisters and other local ministries committed to serving the poor, vulnerable, and marginalized—especially transient and internal migrants.

Missionaries will participate in a wide range of outreach and service opportunities, including:

• Construction and repair work at churches, nursing homes, orphanages, or schools

• Beautification projects for churches in need of care

• Assisting in classrooms, bringing joy and support to local students

• Distributing food and clothing to those experiencing poverty

• Home visits with Fr. Workman to anoint the sick or bring Holy Communion

• Any other acts of service that meet the needs of the poor and underserved in the local community

This trip offers a unique opportunity to encounter Christ through the people we serve, the team we travel with, and the moments of prayer and reflection we share along the way.

Who Can Join:
This mission trip is open to adults and families with children 13 years and older.

What’s Included:
Estimated cost per person is $3100 and is subject to airline pricing at the time of ticketing. The cost includes:

• Round-trip airfare from Washington Dulles

• Land transportation in-country

• Lodging in dorm-style accommodations (double occupancy)

• Travel insurance

• CBC Missionary Bag (includes t-shirt, reflection journal, Tiny Saint, 

Additional costs for meals (~$18/day), snacks, or local shopping are not included in the base cost and are the responsibility of each missionary.

A $500 deposit is required to secure your spot on the team. This includes a $325 non-refundable CBC fee, listed on the website as an “Application Fee.”

Please note: If you withdraw your registration or cancel your participation, you will be responsible for the CBC processing fee and any non-refundable expenses incurred by CBC on your behalf.
