El Salvador Mission Trip | October 3-10, 2026

Commissioned by Christ invites you to join a mission trip to San Salvador, where faith and service come together in a meaningful way.

During the trip, missionaries will share in daily Mass and reflection, creating space to pray together and process the experience as a community. The pilgrimage will also include visiting the home of Oscar Romero and celebrating Mass at the chapel where he was martyred, an important part of the spiritual journey in El Salvador.

Service opportunities will include light construction, food distribution, and visits to local clinics to support ongoing community efforts. These experiences offer a chance not only to serve, but also to encounter Christ through the people we meet and the communities that welcome us.

This mission is an opportunity to step away from daily routines, grow in faith, and serve alongside others who are seeking the same. We hope you will consider being part of it.
The cost is $1850 per person, which includes airfare from Washington Dulles International Airport, lodging, meals, ground transportation, travel insurance, a CBC t-shirt, and retreat materials.

Before departure, missionaries will gather in person three times as a team: two half-day retreats and one service project. These gatherings are required and help prepare the group spiritually and practically for mission.

A $325 non-refundable registration fee is required to reserve your place. On the website, this fee appears as the Application Fee and is applied toward the total trip cost.
